Monakribos became the first Malachai. He began the curse of the Malachai after the daughter of Grim and Laguerre drugged him, causing him to attack and murder his pregnant wife, Rubati. He uttered the curse and performed the spell that would make his line one of utter vengeance. His daughter, born out of his slain wife's dead chest, was Bathymaas. Monakribos' blood birthed a son, Jeros, the beginning of the Malachai line.
