The son of Noir and Lilith, Veles was the first drakomai and god of war.

He fought in the Primus Bellum; after the war, he changed his name to Falcyn.

He possesses one of the last Dragonstones known to exist.

Falcyn is a creature of many secrets and even many more idiosyncrasies. Solitary and surly, he prefers to stay as far away from the world of man and fey as he can.

If only the world would return the favor.

Falcyn scares everyone, even the Were-Hunters at sanctuary. So when Medea brushed him off and treatde him like everyone else, he was instantly curious about her and surprisingly attracted.

Falcyn has a terrible poker face and Medea easily deciphers things he hadn't ever told a soul. After a while Falcyn told her the truth about a lot of things no one knows the truth of: Primary gods, the world egg, the Primus Bellum—there really isn't much Falcyn doesn't know.

One of his deepest secrets is the curse his brother placed on his own son. Falcyn was seduced by Igraine to make the first Mandrake, Maddor. Maxis did not want Igraine to use Maddor against Falcyn so he cursed mandrakes to be weaker and not be able to hold dragon form for long. Falcyn believes this is why the Fey torture and enslave the Mandrakes.

Falcyn traded his Dragonstone for Maddor's freedom and almost traded his own freedom but Medea stepped in. She pushed both dragons through a portal and squared off with Morgen alone. She used her powers to retrieve the Dragonstone and run. Falcyn returned and rescued her before Morgen's forces could kill her.

Back in relative safety Medea and Falcyn found love in one another. Brogan read Medea's palm and foresaw that Medea would have four more children.
