When Bryani went out on her first Sentinel patrol, she was kidnapped and gang raped by Katagaria wolves. One of them turned out to be her mate Markus Kattalakis, who tried unsuccessfully to force her to accept a mating. Bryani sent their three Katagari pups (Anya, Fang, and Vane) to live with Markus and kept their three Arcadian children (Dare, Fury, and Star).

Bryani kidnaps Bride in an attempt to protect her from mating Vane. The other members of her clan were angry that she was sheltering the mate of a Katagari, so they sentenced Bride to a timoria. Bride is rescued, but Bryani shows up at Peltier House and the two women fight. Bride manages to tranquilize Bryani and lock her in a cage until Acheron shows up and strips her of the ability to time travel. Acheron also placed her on a deserted island with Markus, but Vane showed up and used his powers to prevent them from killing each other.
